If you have a public library card (Harris County or Montgomery County; not Houston Public Library), you can use your barcode as your username and your 4-digit PIN as your password to log on to our computers.
If you need a new guest log-in, head up to the front desk with a photo ID and our staff will be happy to create one for you. They will give you a slip of paper with your username written on it and the instructions for your password.
Guest usernames are formatted as: GST- ######. Enter everything in the username field, including the GST and the hyphen, with no spaces.
The password assigned to your guest account is your first and last initials (lower case, no spaces) and your birthdate in MMDDYY format. Note: only enter the last 2 digits of your birth year.
