The library has a scanner, which is free to use, and a black & white copy machine available. The copy machine costs $0.10/page if you're using your print account to pay, and $0.15/page if you're paying with change.

To make copies on the copy machine:

  1. Initiate payment.
We recommend using money from your print account. To access these funds, log in on the touch screen with your myLoneStar username and password. If paying with cash, insert money.
  2. Position your original.
Place your document on the bed of the copier. Please do not use the feed tray on top of the copier, as it tends to jam. Position your document against the back left corner.
If you're copying something very small, like a driver's license, place a blank piece of paper over it; otherwise the copier won't be able to make the copy.
  3. Check the settings.
Everything should be configured for a regular-sized page to copy, but make sure.
  4. Hit the Start button.

Faculty: we recommend using a copy machine in one of the faculty workrooms. The closest is in 13.834. You will log in to those with your employee ID number and the charges go to your department.
