Coaches in both departments have short forms available that can be signed and given to students, giving the date, name of assignment worked on, comments, and any follow-up recommendations they have.
Verification slips are only given to students who show they are engaged in the tutoring process. If a student simply shows up, tunes out, and takes no notes during the session, the coaches are unlikely to sign a slip. An engaged student will not be denied a slip.
Please remember, however, that students are still the ones ultimately responsible for the work they turn in. The tutors may make extensive suggestions, and the student may even seem involved, but we can't guarantee the student will actually make any of the recommended changes.
