Lone Star College - University Park recently acquired a subscription license to the New York Times. The first time you access it, you will need to go through the link on the Research Database page (listed under Current Events as well as News). You will be prompted to create an account or sign in. Create an account using your Lone Star email.
Once you've done that, you can simply go straight to the regular, open web NYTimes.com, sign in to your account, and enjoy unlimited access to their content. You can also access content through their mobile app in the same way.
The New York Times is available to faculty, staff, and students affiliated with LSC - University Park.
Faculty: New York Times in Education, which gathers faculty-submitted suggestions for integrating the NY Times into your class, will launch on Sept. 8. To get access to this, you will need email our representative. The librarians can provide you with the contact information.
