Kanopy is a streaming video database provided by the library. Available films include documentaries, indie and international films, and various award-winners. You'll need your library barcode to access, but then you can create an account to just log in in the future, as well as save movies you want to watch later. You can watch movies on your computer, or download the app for phone or tablet, and you can even add a Kanopy channel to your Roku.

What titles are available? Why does it say access is limited sometimes?

Kanopy uses a "patron-driven acquisition" model. Think of it like a gift card that's loaded up with a certain amount of money. While it has funds, you can go all out! But at some point the balance drops to zero, so you can only enjoy what you've already purchased instead of getting more things. When the new budget year starts in September, that "gift card" is topped off, and the entire Kanopy collection is again available.
