Webex is the video conferencing tool of choice for Lone Star College (i.e. the one we've got a license to use). It facilitates online meetings and events through browser or app. You can call into meetings by phone, as well, which can be a good workaround if your internet speed is making the sound lag -- but keep in mind, call-in isn't necessarily a substitute if the meeting you're joining will be sharing any visuals on the screen (like the library workshops do).

You can log in to lonestar.webex.com with your Lone Star username and password to schedule meetings, or to find meetings you've been invited to. Meetings will also appear on your calendar, if you have one set up on your device.

When joining a meeting, you may be prompted to install a browser plugin. You may also choose to install the app or desktop program.
