Your username is a mash-up of your last name with part of your first name. If you have a common name, your username may include a number at the end. (For example, "Eskarina Smith" might have the username esmith or eskasmith while "John Smith" might have to be jsmith4.)

You need to use your username (and not your student ID number) to sign in to computers on campus, or to use the alternate login for the library databases.

You can easily look up your username by going to my.lonestar.edu and clicking on Get Username below the sign-in area. There's also a Reset Password link if you need it.

myLoneStar login page: the "get username" option below the sign-in fields is highlighted

If you're having difficulties with your account (password OR username), contact OTS for assistance.
