The Lone Star libraries have a 20-item cap (but this can be over-ridden by library staff if needed).
HCPL currently allows up to 75 items to be checked out at one time.
(Why are these numbers so different? College-level academic works are often more expensive than regular books! But don't worry -- if you have requested a bunch of books to pick up on campus, we're going to check them out to you up to that larger limit, assuming your account is in good standing.)
