The library at LSC-University Park is all-digital: we don't have the normal shelves of books you see in conventional libraries. As such, the only books we can accept as donations are those destined to become book art! Another campus library might accept the donations if they're appropriate to the collections, as determined by the librarians and library director.

The Friends groups of the Harris County Public Libraries may accept donations to sell in order to raise funds for their libraries -- see the HCPL Donations & Gifts page for more information. The libraries themselves do not take donations due to the logistics involved.

If you're a professor wanting to donate an item to be placed in the course reserves to facilitate student access, you can bring the books with the completed reserve request form to the front desk of the library. Note: placing an item on reserve does not require it to be a donation to the library!
