Song titles will be placed inside quote marks. Though they are in many ways standalone "sources" by themselves, they are relatively short and usually are parts of a larger whole (i.e. the overall music album, which does get italicized).

Examples:

Leslie Odom, Jr., performs the song "Wait For It" on the official soundtrack recording of Hamilton.

David Bowie's final album, Blackstar, includes the titular song "Blackstar."

The book Good Omens continuously builds on the joke that "all tapes left in a car for more than a fortnight metamorphose into Best of Queen albums" by namedropping numerous albums of classical music instead playing songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "I Want To Break Free" (Pratchett and Gaiman).

Note: when using APA style, your references list entry for the song will not include quotation marks (per standard APA rules). However, when naming a song in-text like the above example, you do use quotation marks! (Fun, right?)
