Lone Star College students and employees are welcome to recommend materials for purchase by the library via the online form. Suggestions will be evaluated based on the Collection Development Policy, the item's usefulness to the collection, and current budget constraints.

Note that the LSC-University Park library is digital. If a book is recommended that is not available as an e-book on our purchasing platforms, we will not be able to buy it even if it would otherwise be a good fit.

  • If you need a title for research, consider doing an interlibrary loan request to get it from another university.
  • You can get a TexShare card to borrow at participating libraries so that e.g. if Rice's Fondren Library has a copy, you can go there to borrow it.
    • Look the title up on WorldCat to see the nearest libraries to have a copy.
  • Please also contact the library about your research topic and we can locate similar materials already in our collection!
