Background
Academic Coaching at LSC-University Park started licensing Upswing with funds from a grant as a pilot program and fought to make it a regular budget item in later years. Ultimately, LSC decided to settle on one virtual platform for all campuses, and Upswing is no longer offered through LSC-UP as of the conclusion of the 2022-2023 academic year.
The Future
Lone Star College licenses Brainfuse, including Tutor Match, for students at all campuses. You can access this portal by logging in to myLoneStar, then clicking the LSC Online tile, then Online Tutoring. The LSC-Online VLAC support center has guides to accessing and using Brainfuse and Tutor Match. They are the point of contact for support issues.
The in-person labs, of course, continue to be available for walk-ins.
