Once you’ve enrolled as a student, have registered for classes, and have some evidence of payment pending in your account, come to the library front desk with a photo ID (such as a driver’s license) and request an ID. Library staff will create an ID within a few minutes. [Note: the first week of classes, especially in the fall semester, is a very popular time for students to have IDs made, and wait times are longer.]

Your first ID card is free. If you’ve lost an ID and need a replacement made, the charge is $10.

We start making IDs on the first day of the month in which a new semester begins, i.e.:

  • Aug. 1: first day for a fall ID
  • Dec. 1: first day for a spring ID
  • May 1: first day for a summer ID

You may get your ID created anywhere between the above dates and the end of the semester, though the sooner, the better. If a term ends and you are not enrolled for the next semester, you will not be able to get an ID at that time.

  1. Could you please put your physical location somewhere on your website? I don't know where the library is on your campus.

  2. Hi Jane,
Sorry about that! We're on the 8th floor of building 12.
