OTS (the IT department at LSC) maintains a "knowledgebase" of instructions for all kinds of things, including setting up your email. This entry links over to that knowledgebase rather than duplicating instructions, as going to the OTS source will get you the most current info.
Forward Email
You can set up your email to forward to a personal email account (like your gmail). Forwarding is helpful for seeing your incoming emails, but less helpful if/when you need to reply to something (since your should be using your LSC email to contact LSC folk).
Add Email Account to Your Device
You can alternatively set up your student email account on your phone's mail app following the instructions posted in the OTS knowledgebase.
Work-life balance tip: You might consider installing a separate mail app for your LSC email, apart from what you use to read your personal email. This can be easier to mute during breaks or set different priority/notification rules.
